Through the Looking Glass Liisa Peilimaassa 2005
Drama writing revolves around choices and actions that follow from those choices. "Through the looking glass" is a project that looks between the scenes, and examines the time that is edited out of drama writing. The main character is not doing anything, not making choices or taking any action. She is debating herself.
"Through the looking glass" is an attempt to look at the constant inner monologue/dialogue taking place inside our heads. More than with anyone else, we talk with ourselves. More than anyone or anything else, we battle ourselves.
Two channel video installation. Length 8´20".
