And no swinging! is a documentary about a photographer´s attempt to take a family portrait of her own family living in the countryside. The location is an old-fashioned garden swing.
During the video two photographs are taken but with no satisfactory results. Video camera documents the relationships both in the family and between the photographer and family members.
The video becomes the real family portrait.

And no swinging! has been shown in galleries and festivals in Finland, in Norway and in Rock the Campo show of Finnish video art in Venice Biennale in 2001.

The lenght of the video is 2 minutes and 30 seconds and it has English subtitles.
